Job Description
OPPORTUNITIES OPEN NOW MTMCare, Inc., a Hood River-based company providing medication therapy management (MTM) and clinical pharmacy services (CPS) services to high-risk patients experiencing medication-related problems, is currently seeking a bi-lingual and motivated individual for the role of full-time Telephonic Pharmacy Associate. This position provides administrative and customer service support in our Hood River call center. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of associates who enjoy “connecting exceptional pharmacists with the patients who need them most.”
Primary Responsibilities Include
Fluency in English and Spanish language is required.
Provide excellent customer service to patients and consultants alike.
Place, answer and transfer calls in a timely manner and systematically document call results.
Accurately schedule comprehensive medication reviews with confidence, respect and compassion.
Update patient information via internal and external systems, according to HIPPA policies and procedures.
Successfully print and mail patient documentation.
Send, receive and file electronic faxes.
Communicate with co-workers, consultants and providers professionally and effectively.
Ensure smooth and timely execution of MTM services through daily communication with consultants.
Requirements
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Spanish.
Ability to manage tasks and time efficiently.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Means to arrive promptly for shifts and to communicate schedule changes.
Passion for helping others.
Proficient in computer skills.
Reliable, outgoing and highly capable in relating to others.
Desire to make a difference in patients’ lives, one phone call at a time.
